Baked Goodies

Great little box and a great little identity that hasn't changed for years and years and years and years! I used to love going into Birds as a young knock kneed lad and getting an iced bun. This is a Derby thing, not everyone has the benefit of one of these on every street corner supplying endless elephants' feet, custard tarts, vanilla slices, toffee donuts, potted beef, bread rolls, lamb and mint slices and much more!

The alternative at Bodrum Airport at 3am for 5 Turkish Lire doesn't really have the same appeal - or does it? After all you can't beat a healthy slice of TEA + CAKE.

Whist looking out from the windows of the Teacake Factory this morning i saw this rather great example of ugly type, knowing we havent really posted anything under this section for a while i thought this would be the prefect way to start it up again.
