Hits from the blogs.

Thank you to The Serif for a little post on there blog and also to Death by Kerning for the following evaluation of our efforts.

"UK based design studio Teacake likes to have some fun when they work, and it shows. Their portfolio is simultaneously whimsical and sophisticated. From top to bottom: A poster that serves as an homage to Akzidenz-Grotesk, screen printed with 94 categories of porn surrounding the typeface (yes, I said porn); An exploration of "ugly type," the result of a collaboration with Dutch typographer Ewald Spieker; and one in a series of posters promoting local produce and responsible consumerism. Seems like they've covered it all, from anime porn to organic tomatoes."

Thank you to last weeks bloggers: fourfootcar.blogspot.com and threeareblog.com

Expose Yourself!

Issue 148 of Computer Arts contains a little exposure of the creative kind.
There are plenty in WHSmith so go have a nosey!

We would like to thank Garrick for his help

The thrill of The Chase.

Work at The Chase continues and the certificates shown above are merely the tip of the iceberg.
The artwork room still remains a favorite so we thought we would personally introduce you to a discarded tray of wood cut letters.

Ice Breaker

We are nearing the end of our first week and already it is apparent just how valuable a studio placement can be as an insight into what life may be like once we have graduated. An unexpected visit was paid to The Salutation last night and brains were tickled with the pub quiz.

Tomorrow we want to explore the library and impressive back catalogue of projects!
